School Speech Language Pathologist - Centreville, Maryland
Make a meaningful impact in elementary education as a certified Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract opportunity offers the chance to provide essential speech and language services to PreK–5th grade students in a supportive school environment for the 2026–2027 academic year. You’ll deliver at least 60 service hours per month, collaborating closely with educators and families to help students meet their communication goals. While onsite work is preferred, there is flexibility to discuss remote (VOCO) arrangements.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Hold an active Maryland SLP license (CCC required)
- Experience working in Maryland schools highly preferred
- Background in elementary school and PreK–5th grade caseloads
- Comfortable providing services onsite; open to teletherapy/VOCO if needed
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for speech and language disorders in PreK–5th grade students
- Complete required documentation, progress reports, and maintain service schedule of at least 60 hours monthly
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop IEPs and support student success
- Offer both direct and consultative speech therapy in group and individual settings
- Contribute expertise and insight to help foster an inclusive and empowering learning environment
