Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current SLP license in the state of New York
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CFY)
  • Previous experience in school or pediatric settings preferred
  • Competency in teletherapy platforms and technology, or willingness to train
  • Strong assessment, documentation, and collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students individually and in groups
  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Maintain organized and thorough documentation in accordance with school and legal standards
  • Engage in periodic professional development to remain up-to-date with best practices
