Flexible scheduling across 37.5 hours per week ensures comprehensive support for an evolving caseload. Age groups and populations will be determined, offering variety and opportunities for dynamic professional development.
Qualifications:
- Active New Mexico SLP license required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Previous school-based SLP experience strongly desired
- Comfort with itinerant work and adapting to different school environments
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to travel locally across multiple school sites
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students according to individual IEPs
- Complete thorough assessments, develop and implement treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Attend relevant meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
