What you’ll need to succeed:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP license in Connecticut
- Eligible for or holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or currently completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Previous experience in school-based settings, particularly with preschool-age students, is highly valued
- Strong assessment, evaluation, and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Dedication to providing compassionate, student-centered intervention
- SLPA candidates are not being considered at this time
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy services to a caseload of 12–15 preschoolers (with the potential to grow as referrals are received)
- Conduct thorough evaluations, develop treatment plans, and monitor student progress
- Attend and actively participate in Planning and Placement Team (PPT) meetings
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to maximize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and assessments
