School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | New Haven, Connecticut

You'll work approximately 15 hours per week with a manageable, growing caseload initially consisting of 12-15 students, with more anticipated as referrals arise.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP - CCC or eligibility for SLP - CFY status
- Appropriate state licensure/certification for school SLPs
- Previous experience with preschool-aged children strongly preferred
- Comfort with direct therapy, evaluations, and collaborating in educational settings
- Not accepting applications from SLPA’s at this time
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to preschool students on your caseload
- Conduct initial and ongoing evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs
- Participate actively in PPT (Planning and Placement Team) meetings, working collaboratively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Document progress in line with school and state requirements
- Adapt therapeutic techniques to meet the evolving needs of each student and support ongoing referrals as caseload grows
