Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Derby, CT

Qualifications and Experience
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Experience working with preschool-aged children in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- SLPA applications will not be considered for this position
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver speech-language services to a growing caseload of approximately 12-15 preschool students
- Complete comprehensive evaluations to support student growth and instructional planning
- Attend and actively participate in Planning and Placement Team (PPT) meetings
- Maintain detailed records in compliance with school and regulatory policies
- Adapt intervention strategies to meet the unique needs of each child
- Communicate progress clearly to teachers, administrators, and families
- Stay current with best practices in pediatric speech-language therapy
