Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Valid and current SLP licensure, with CCC or CFY credentials welcomed
- Experience or comfort working with preschool and early childhood populations
- Strong understanding of school-based service delivery models
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Commitment to collaboration—willingness to participate actively in student planning meetings (PPTs)
- Skilled in conducting thorough speech-language evaluations and writing comprehensive reports
- Must be able to independently service a caseload without SLPA support
- Passionate about fostering early communication and language development
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language services to preschool students in accordance with IEPs
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and timely re-evaluations
- Participate and contribute to Planning and Placement Team (PPT) meetings
- Collaborate with classroom staff and parents to support generalization of skills
- Maintain accurate session notes and progress reports
- Stay informed on best practices for early language intervention
- Adapt services as caseload grows with incoming referrals
