Make a meaningful impact supporting students’ communication success in an educational setting as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist. This is a full-time, onsite position working across multiple sites in the Clovis area, where you’ll collaborate with a dynamic school team to help students reach their highest potential. The assignment runs from ASAP through May 2027, offering long-term stability in a rewarding environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid NM SLP License required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- School-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Adaptable to work with various age groups and populations (to be determined by the district)
- Comfortable traveling between multiple school sites
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy to students per IEP requirements
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation of interventions, progress, and compliance
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
- Support students with diverse needs in both individual and group settings
- Travel between school sites within the district (itinerant role)
