Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by providing critical speech-language support across multiple educational sites in the Portales/Clovis area. This is a full-time, contract opportunity for experienced and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists to contribute their expertise within a dynamic school-based setting.
Key Qualifications:
- Active New Mexico Speech-Language Pathology license (NM License required)
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Demonstrated experience working with school-aged populations
- Flexibility to serve at multiple sites; itinerant experience strongly valued
- Ability to thrive in an evolving, collaborative environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language pathology services to students, with populations and age groups to be determined based on district needs
- Assess, diagnose, and implement individualized treatment plans for students with a variety of communication needs
- Collaborate closely with school staff, families, and support teams to develop and monitor student progress
- Travel between assigned sites as part of an itinerant service model
- Provide accurate, timely documentation and participate in IEP meetings and related requirements
