Key Qualifications:
- Active New Mexico SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working in school settings is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to multiple sites in an itinerant model
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for students with communication challenges
- Deliver therapy services on-site to assigned caseload across district locations
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Document progress, maintain records, and provide updates to staff and families
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success
- Adjust intervention approaches to meet the diverse needs of varied student groups
