Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist providing vital support to students across multiple educational sites close to Cannon AFB, NM. This full-time, onsite position is ideal for professionals dedicated to empowering young learners through effective communication strategies and compassionate intervention.
This assignment runs from now until 5/20/27, offering the chance to make a lasting impact in diverse educational settings. You'll play a key role as an itinerant SLP, collaborating with educators and families while servicing varied age groups and populations (to be determined upon assignment). Two positions are available for qualified candidates ready to make a meaningful difference.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active New Mexico SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous school-based SLP experience is highly valued
- Strong organizational skills for travel between multiple sites
- Adaptable, collaborative, and committed to student success
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with school goals
- Work cooperatively with teachers, support staff, and families to foster an inclusive environment
- Document progress and maintain accurate student records
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute clinical expertise to support educational planning
