A unique opportunity is available for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist interested in working with secondary and high school students, including those in secondary transition programs. This contract assignment, running from August 24, 2026, through June 7, 2027, offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 to 40 hours per week. The caseload consists of approximately 50 students, providing the chance to make a significant impact during a critical period in their educational journey.

Ideal candidates will have a strong foundation in school-based speech therapy, with skills supporting adolescents as they prepare for post-secondary life. The collaborative atmosphere allows you to partner with teachers, staff, and families to guide students toward communication success.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Eligible for ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) status
  • Previous experience in a school setting, especially with high school and transition-age students, is highly valued
  • Understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress tracking
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and identify students’ speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop, implement, and manage individualized treatment plans
  • Provide direct and consultative services to assigned students
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain documentation and timely progress reports as required by school policy
