Qualifications and Certifications:
- Active Minnesota Speech-Language Pathologist licensure
- Current PELSB (Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board) certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous school-based experience is appreciated, though not required
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ speech, language, and communication abilities using standardized tools and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Develop and implement individualized education plan (IEP) goals
- Deliver direct therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups
- Communicate progress and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
- Document evaluations, treatment notes, and progress reports in accordance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and consultations as needed
