Key Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) licensure
- Current PELSB certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred
- Previous school-based experience is a plus, but not a requirement
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments, develop targeted intervention strategies, and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to support student needs and educational success
- Keep accurate records, attend IEP meetings, and maintain compliance with district and state guidelines
- Contribute positively to the collaborative spirit within the school environment
