Pediatric School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Eden Prairie, Minnesota
We are seeking a qualified Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide maternity leave coverage at an elementary school serving grades K-3. This position offers an opportunity to support students with a caseload of approximately 35 children. The assignment is scheduled from the end of April through the end of the school year in Eden Prairie, MN.
Key qualifications and experience include:
- Certification and licensure as an SLP (CCC preferred)
- Experience in school-based speech-language pathology
- Familiarity with pediatric populations and teletherapy methods
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or equivalent experience
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and educational staff
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments
- Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies
- Utilize teletherapy platforms if needed to ensure service delivery
