This assignment begins at Justice Alan Page Elementary, covering a maternity leave with anticipated transition after Thanksgiving break. Once the initial placement ends, your talents will be utilized across various school buildings, addressing additional leaves as they arise or providing compensatory services to students needing makeup sessions.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid MN School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Prior experience in educational settings strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to shifting environments and caseloads
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students according to IEP goals
- Support students across grade levels and needs, initially focusing on Justice Alan Page Elementary
- Transition to additional school sites as needed for maternity or other leave coverage
- Deliver compensatory services to students as required
- Maintain thorough documentation and contribute to IEP meetings
- Communicate regularly with teachers, families, and administration regarding student progress
