Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Minneapolis, MN
Take on a rewarding contract opportunity as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist for the full 2026/2027 school year near Minneapolis, MN. In this versatile position, you'll begin your assignment supporting students at Justice Alan Page Elementary, covering a maternity leave expected to conclude around Thanksgiving break. After returning staff resumes their position, you'll continue to make an impact by providing services in other buildings, filling in for leaves as they arise, or addressing compensatory services for students who missed scheduled sessions during prior staff absences.
Ideal candidates will possess a strong foundation in school-based speech-language pathology and bring dedication to fostering student success and communication growth in a dynamic educational setting.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current MN School Speech-Language Pathologist License required
- Valid CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence) credentials
- Previous experience in K-12 educational settings, particularly with compensatory services or leave coverage
- Adaptability to move between school sites and tailor interventions to diverse student needs
- Strong communication and collaborative skills with educators, administrators, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language assessment and therapy services in alignment with IEP goals
- Support students’ communication development within the classroom and through pull-out services
- Document student progress and maintain compliance with special education requirements
- Consult and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Flexibly provide services across multiple school locations as assignment needs shift throughout the school year
This contract role offers a fulfilling opportunity to work 37.5 hours per week on a consistent Monday through Friday schedule.
