Step into a dynamic contract opportunity that lets you make a daily impact as a Speech Language Pathologist supporting students from PreK through 12th grade. This engaging role requires a commitment of 7.5 hours per day, five days a week, following the traditional school calendar from late August through mid-June. While the specific school placements are yet to be finalized, you’ll primarily serve a combination of preschool programs and potentially a single school in and around the Bradford, Vermont area.

Qualifications and Experience Sought:

  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
  • Prior experience supporting children in educational settings strongly preferred
  • Ability to work across multiple age groups, from preschoolers to high school students
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to collaborate with other educators and specialists

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans based on student needs
  • Deliver direct and consultative speech and language therapy services in both individual and group settings
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to foster student growth
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
  • Provide training and resources to staff and parents to support carryover of skills
