School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Norwich, Vermont

Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience working in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and fellow therapists
Responsibilities:
- Assess students to determine speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student
- Deliver direct therapy services to students in accordance with their IEPs
- Maintain accurate progress notes and complete required reports within deadlines
- Participate in IEP meetings as the speech-language expert, contributing to students’ educational planning
- Provide training and support for teachers and staff on communication strategies and accommodations
- Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to ensure effective carryover of skills
