Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (School Based) – Elementary (K–5)
Pay Rate: $48-$55/hour (Based on experience)
Schedule: Full-Time
Days: Monday–Friday
Start Date: 2026–2027 School Year
End Date: End of 2026–2027 School Year
Position Overview:
We are seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to support the School District in Dover, DE serving K–5 students across two nearby school sites. This role focuses on providing school-based speech and language services with an emphasis on supporting students with autism in an elementary school setting.
Responsibilities:
• Provide speech and language therapy services to K–5 students
• Support students with autism and related communication needs
• Conduct evaluations, assessments, and progress monitoring
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration
• Maintain accurate documentation and service records
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families across two close school sites
• Support functional communication and language development
Qualifications:
• Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License (state-dependent)
• Experience working with children with autism required
• School-based experience preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage caseload across two nearby school sites
