Pediatric School-Based SLP | Wilmington, Delaware

In this role, you'll have the chance to work with elementary-aged students, creating and implementing effective therapy plans, supporting IEP goals, and collaborating with educators and families. The district is anticipating needs for Extended School Year (ESY) services as well, providing additional opportunities for professional growth and contribution.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field (SLP, CCC, CFY), or valid SLPA credentials
- Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP or SLPA
- Experience or strong interest in the school setting and working with elementary students
- Familiarity with pediatric therapy approaches and IEP documentation
- Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual and group speech therapy services for elementary students
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders within the school setting
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families
- Develop and update IEPs, maintain accurate records, and participate in meetings
- Contribute to ESY programming as needed
