Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - West Houston, TX
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLP) for a full-time (37.5 hours per week), onsite W-2 role for the upcoming school year with districts in the West Houston, Texas area.
This position runs from 8/3/26 through 5/27/27. Renewals for the following school year are based on performance.
Applicants must meet all Texas state and local requirements, including active SLP-CCC licensure, to be considered.
Compensation Includes:
Weekly tax-free stipend for housing and meals
Relocation/moving assistance available
Responsibilities include:
Conduct speech and language evaluations and re-evaluations
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Provide direct therapy services to students across assigned caseloads
Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation and compliance records
Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents regarding student needs and progress
Conduct screenings and contribute to eligibility determinations
Support MTSS/RTI processes as needed within the district
Ensure services align with state, federal, and district special education guidelines
