Virtual School-Based Speech Therapy | Washington
A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in school-based services, located in Spokane, WA. This role involves providing teletherapy and in-person speech-language services within an educational setting.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students presenting speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs
- Deliver therapy sessions focused on achieving speech and language goals
- Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary professionals to support coordinated care
- Engage families in the therapeutic process, providing education and support
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Washington
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with pediatric and school-aged populations is highly desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
To qualify:
- Possession of a current license approved by the Washington State Board of Speech-Language Pathology
- Completion of a Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
