What you’ll bring:
- Active Florida Speech-Language Pathology license
- Previous school-based SLP experience, or a strong desire to work with student populations ranging from pre-K to middle school
- Ability to manage a sizable, dynamic caseload (approximately 50 students at Buffalo Creek and up to 95 shared at Prine)
- Collaborative spirit, comfortable working with other SLPs, SLPAs, and experienced school teams
- Flexibility and adaptability in various instructional and behavioral settings
- Commitment to direct therapy and consultative services, supporting both students with high-need and routine cases
Your impact and responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students with a range of needs, from intensive communication challenges to consultative monitoring
- Serve students in specialized settings, including cognitive and behavior units at Buffalo Creek and a wide variety of pre-K, ASD, integrated, and ESE classrooms at Prine
- Document progress, prepare and participate in IEP meetings, and maintain records in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Communicate effectively with families, staff, and administration to support positive student outcomes
- Contribute insights and strategies as part of a committed SLP and SLPA team
