This is an onsite, contract opportunity, offering a consistent full-time schedule during the school year.
Skills & Experience Sought:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC).
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience or demonstrated skill in providing speech/language services to elementary student populations.
- Familiarity with IEP development and case management in a school setting.
- Ability to supervise and collaborate with an SLP-A, while working alongside another in-house SLP.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive educational environment.
Your Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to students according to their IEP goals, primarily elementary caseload.
- Serve as case manager for 21 students, overseeing their services and progress.
- Provide direct and indirect services as a provider for a total of 76 students (including your case-managed students).
- Effectively collaborate with the on-site SLP-A, delegating and supervising as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely records, documentation, and reporting for all assigned caseloads.
- Communicate with faculty, staff, and families to support student outcomes.
- Participate in IEP meetings and help design effective intervention plans.
