Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure to practice Speech-Language Pathology (or ability to obtain)
- Previous experience in a school setting is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and ability to connect with students of various ages
- Strong documentation, record keeping, and organizational abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations of students’ speech, language, and communication abilities
- Develop and deliver Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and interventions
- Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Implement evidence-based therapy in both individual and group settings
- Monitor, document, and report on students’ performance and therapy outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff consultations as needed
