Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as an SLP
- Previous experience working with children in schools, educational, or pediatric settings preferred
- Solid understanding of IEP processes and compliance requirements
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students individually and in small groups
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments to determine student needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and necessary documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Consult with teachers, staff, and parents regarding student progress and recommendations
- Support students’ participation in classroom activities by implementing appropriate strategies and accommodations
- Attend relevant meetings, training sessions, and professional development as required
