Make a real difference this summer by supporting young learners and their families! A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist with experience in school-based and early childhood settings. If you are passionate about early intervention and providing Part B and C summer services, this assignment lets you work with children from birth through kindergarten during the Extended School Year (ESY) program.

You’ll work with a small caseload—approximately five students—with the possibility of additional new referrals as they arise. Your expertise will help support communication development and school readiness skills while collaborating with families and educators for positive student outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current SLP license or eligibility to obtain one
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Experience with early childhood populations, ideally ages birth–5/Kindergarten
  • Familiarity with school-based therapy and IEP/IFSP implementation preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt interventions to individual student needs
  • Knowledge of Part B and C services is a plus

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services during ESY, following students’ existing plans
  • Conduct assessments for new referrals and communicate findings to families and team members
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records per program requirements
  • Participate in meetings, providing input for ongoing eligibility and programming decisions
  • Collaborate with teachers, service providers, and families for wraparound support
