Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Minnesota SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY considered
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and individualized therapy planning skills
- Experience with IEP development and participation in multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
Role Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other educational staff
- Participate in IEP meetings and document progress toward therapy goals
- Offer guidance to support generalization of communication strategies in classroom settings
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with school and legal requirements
