Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist required
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Collaborative spirit, comfortable working with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Familiarity with documentation and progress tracking for IEPs and other educational requirements
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students across various grade levels
- Develop and implement customized therapy plans to support individual student goals
- Maintain accurate records of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with district and legal guidelines
- Engage in ongoing collaboration with teachers, parents, and educational staff to provide holistic support to students
- Participate in IEP meetings, contribute expertise, and advocate for students’ needs
- Serve as a resource for staff and families regarding communication disorders, strategies, and interventions
- Adapt interventions and communication strategies based on each student’s progress and evolving needs
