Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Minneapolis, MN
A fulfilling contract opportunity is available for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) at a K–8 charter school near Minneapolis, MN. This role is ideal for an experienced SLP with enthusiasm for supporting student communication and language development in a collaborative school setting. The assignment begins September 2, 2026 and extends through June 4, 2027, offering an engaging school-year schedule.
You will work approximately three days each week during regular school hours, providing essential services to students across kindergarten through eighth grade. Bring your expertise to help children reach their full academic and social potential.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Current Speech-Language Pathology license, with Minnesota eligibility
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Familiarity with IEP processes and school documentation
- Compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to supporting diverse learners
Role responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess student’s speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual student goals
- Provide direct therapy services for students in grades K–8
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Monitor progress, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Support the school community through participation in staff meetings and professional development
