Qualifications and Experience Sought:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Background in pediatric speech therapy, preferably within school environments
- Experience developing and implementing IEPs for K–8 students
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Team-oriented and proactive with educators, staff, and families
- Adaptable approach to a diverse student population
What You’ll Do:
- Provide speech-language screenings, assessments, and direct interventions to students in grades K–8
- Maintain accurate records, progress documentation, and timely reporting in line with school and state requirements
- Collaborate with teachers and administrators for integrated support across classrooms
- Contribute to IEP meetings by offering recommendations and progress updates
- Educate and guide students, families, and staff on speech, language, and communication strategies
- Foster an encouraging, inclusive environment where every student feels supported
