Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Active SLP license for the state of Minnesota (or eligibility)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates also encouraged to apply
  • Experience or exposure to pediatric and school-based populations
  • Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
  • Healthcare-related SLP experience is a plus
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaborative skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders within a school environment
  • Develop individualized education programs (IEPs) and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide both direct and consultative services to students with diverse needs
  • Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and comprehensive documentation for each student
  • Engage in regular communication with parents, teachers, and school administrators
  • Stay current with industry best practices and continue professional development as needed
