Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive school district team in Avondale for a full-time school-based position serving K–8 students. This role includes SLPA support and offers a collaborative, student-focused environment dedicated to improving communication skills and academic access.
Job Responsibilities
Provide speech and language evaluations and therapy services
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs)
Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families
Utilize and oversee SLPA support as applicable
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring
Position Details
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
Hours: Full-time (typically 37.5 hours/week)
Age Group: K–8 students
Setting: School-based
SLPA Support: Yes
Pay Rate: $45–$55 per hour (DOE)
Additional Notes: Supportive district with collaborative caseload management
Qualifications
Active Arizona SLP License
Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (required)
Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
School-based or pediatric experience preferred
Strong communication and collaboration skills
