Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting highly desirable
- Familiarity with the IEP process and Medicaid billing procedures
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to elementary students
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans targeting speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and provide input for goal-setting and progress updates
- Maintain accurate records of evaluations, therapy sessions, and student progress
- Offer guidance to teachers and support staff, promoting communication-rich classroom environments
- Engage families in the intervention process through regular updates and recommendations
