School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Scottsdale, Arizona

Make a meaningful impact supporting young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist in an engaging elementary school setting. This contract opportunity runs from August through December, covering two leaves for the upcoming school semester. You’ll work full-time with diverse student populations, helping children strengthen their communication abilities and confidence in the classroom.
Ideal candidates bring a passion for working with elementary-aged students, along with specific experience providing speech and language services in school environments. Collaborate with dedicated educators and families, designing and implementing individualized support plans that make a visible difference.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure required for speech-language pathologists
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but will consider strong Clinical Fellows (CFs)
- Prior experience working in elementary schools is highly valued
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate on goals with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide both group and individual therapy sessions
- Maintain organized caseload records, progress notes, and required reports
- Educate teachers and parents on effective communication strategies to support student learning
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to support whole-child development
