This contract position for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) offers the chance to work onsite with a diverse group of learners throughout the 2026–2027 school year. You will play a vital role in helping students overcome challenges and reach their fullest potential.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP license in the state of Florida
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Prior experience working with K-12 students in educational settings
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to effectively serve students, educators, and families
- Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students with a range of communication needs
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and write clear, actionable evaluation reports
- Work closely with educators and families to support students’ academic and social success
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and document progress
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and provide recommendations based on best practices
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations for school-based speech services
This is an onsite, full-time contract role beginning August 2026 and running through May 2027. Final details regarding caseload and school assignments will be provided during the interview process.
