Key Qualifications:
- Hold active Speech-Language Pathologist licensure in Texas
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Prior experience working in schools or with pediatric populations is preferred
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and self-manage schedule across one or two buildings
- Commitment to maintaining regular attendance, with awareness that compensation is tied to presence on campus (no pay for breaks or days off)
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect SLP services to students at assigned campus(es)
- Manage a weekly caseload at 37.5 hours, typically on one campus, sometimes two depending on district needs
- Accurately record and submit a weekly time log for director approval
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and participate in IEP meetings
- Consult and collaborate effectively with educational staff and families
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation
