Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current and active state SLP license (required at time of application)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred
- Previous experience providing school-based speech therapy services, especially in elementary settings
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with students, teachers, and families
- Adaptability in working across multiple school sites
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy to elementary students as assigned
- Conduct evaluations, develop IEPs, and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with general and special education teachers to identify students in need of support and design interventions
- Maintain accurate records and documentation according to school and state guidelines
- Engage families in the speech therapy process, providing updates and resources as appropriate
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings at both school sites
