We are seeking two dedicated professionals with backgrounds in speech-language pathology in school settings who are ready to make a meaningful difference for students each day.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school setting is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of middle school student needs and center-based educational approaches
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, support staff, and other service providers
- Minnesota licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Effective communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom atmosphere
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language services to students in the center-based classroom
- Collaborate closely with classroom staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Assess students’ speech, language, and communication skills as needed
- Track progress, maintain documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
- Support the academic and social-emotional needs of middle school students
- Foster positive relationships and communicate regularly with families and team members
