Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Active SLP license in Pennsylvania (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience with early childhood, elementary, and pediatric populations
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation standards
- Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills
- Flexibility and compassion for working with a variety of student needs
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students, adapting interventions per individual education plans
- Conduct evaluations and screenings for communication disorders across a diverse K–12 population
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Foster positive partnerships with teachers, parents, and caregivers to support student success
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school-based activities
