Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Valid state licensure or eligibility per New York requirements
- Experience supporting elementary-aged students in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ speech and language abilities using standardized tools and clinical observation
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Deliver engaging, data-driven interventions for articulation, language, fluency, and social communication
- Monitor student progress and adjust strategies for optimal outcomes
- Consult regularly with teachers, families, and related service providers to maximize student growth
- Ensure compliance with all IEP and state reporting requirements
