We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a school district in San Jose, California, for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time opportunity allows you to work with students across a K–12 setting while supporting licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in helping students develop the communication skills they need to succeed.

Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language therapy services under the direction and supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Implement therapy plans and activities designed to support student communication goals.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate service records.
- Prepare therapy materials and assist with scheduling and organization.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
- Adhere to district policies and California state regulations governing SLPA practice.
Qualifications
- Current California Speech-Language Pathology Assistant license or registration, as required by state regulations.
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant studies, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or a related field.
- School-based or pediatric experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
