Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold (or are eligible for) a valid Virginia SLP license (VA SLP)
- Experience or strong interest in elementary pediatric populations
- Open to SLP clinicians at all stages, including Clinical Fellows (CFY), experienced school-based SLPs, and candidates with healthcare or teletherapy backgrounds
- Proficiency with teletherapy platforms and remote service delivery is a plus
- Ability to coordinate effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational skills to manage a caseload of 60
- Enthusiasm for creating engaging, individualized treatment plans
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement IEP goals, and provide speech-language intervention for elementary students
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state requirements
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and parents to maximize student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a positive, team-oriented school culture
