Pediatric Skilled Nursing Facility Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Fries, VA

- Previous experience delivering SLP services in a school-based or healthcare setting serving children
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and protocols (preferred)
- Strong communication skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to organize therapy schedules and manage documentation efficiently
Role and Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy to elementary school students, addressing a range of communication needs
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments, developing IEPs and measurable goals
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and special education staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
- Participate in eligibility meetings, team planning, and professional development as needed
- Deliver therapy in-person or through telepractice, in accordance with student needs and school preferences
