Key Qualifications:

  • Active Washington SLP license required
  • Certification in SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY highly valued
  • School-based and pediatric SLP experience preferred
  • Demonstrated commitment to serving students with special needs and their families
  • Skilled in assessment, evaluation, and consultation within educational settings
  • Ability to bring creativity, humor, and positivity to your daily interactions
  • Strong communication and professional relationship-building skills
  • Thorough understanding of special education processes and diverse disability categories
  • Capable of handling assignments in early learning and/or uncommon impairments

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide IEP-driven speech-language services to students, primarily at the elementary level with some high school involvement
  • Conduct assessments, deliver therapy, and offer consultative support to staff
  • Facilitate effective communication among students, families, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Maintain thorough, accurate, and timely documentation as required by special education procedures
  • Flexibly serve across three sites, managing a caseload efficiently across 35-38 hours per week
