Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Prior experience delivering school-based SLP services preferred
- Solid understanding of IEP development, case management, and progress monitoring
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary team members
- Compassionate, student-focused approach with flexibility to adapt to diverse communication needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with IEP mandates
- Conduct assessments and create individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to support student success
- Document therapy sessions, progress, and outcomes in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Maintain positive communication with teachers, staff, and families to ensure continuity of care
- Offer consultative support to classroom teachers, providing resources and strategies for language development
- Adapt therapy techniques to support both individual and small group settings
