Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Prior experience working with pediatric populations, especially in school settings, is highly desired
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based assessment and intervention strategies for children
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt to changing school needs
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language disorders
- Deliver direct therapy services, both individual and group, tailored to students’ unique needs
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support students’ IEP goals and facilitate educational access
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP meetings
- Offer guidance and training to teachers and staff as needed
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices and district requirements
