Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state SLP licensure or eligibility
- Prior experience in a school setting strongly preferred
- Proficiency in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of pediatric speech and language disorders
- Ability to create and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with educators, families, and support staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess students for speech, language, and communication disorders through standardized and informal testing
- Develop individualized therapy plans in alignment with IEP objectives
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services within the school environment
- Document assessments, interventions, progress, and collaborate in IEP meetings
- Engage with parents and teachers, offering strategies and resources to enhance student progress
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations regarding special education services
