Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP)
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) for SLP practice
- Prior experience with elementary-aged children strongly preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to adapt and tailor intervention strategies for diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders for elementary-aged students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support each child’s progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain thorough documentation of student progress and treatment outcomes
- Provide education and resources to teachers and families as needed
- Foster an inclusive, positive learning atmosphere for all students
