Skilled Nursing Facility Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Elk River, MN

This contract opportunity allows you to provide skilled Speech-Language Pathology services to a diverse caseload of children from birth to 5 years. Work collaboratively with families and educators to foster communication and developmental milestones through both in-person and teletherapy options. This role involves a mix of home visits for early intervention and sessions with preschool-aged children, offering variety and the chance to see tangible progress firsthand.
Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP
- Experience with early childhood populations (birth–5 years) preferred
- Comfort with both in-person and teletherapy service delivery
- Strong communication, organization, and adaptability
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for young children
- Deliver direct therapy through a blend of home visits and preschool site visits
- Consult and collaborate with families, caregivers, and early childhood educators
- Document progress, maintain records, and ensure compliance with regulations
- Utilize evidence-based practices tailored to each child’s needs and developmental level
- Provide support and resources to families to reinforce therapeutic goals at home
