Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and deliver therapy for speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
- Accurately document patient evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
- Communicate with insurance providers to verify patient benefits.
- Prepare materials and plan for evaluation and treatment sessions.
- Educate clinical staff—including nurses, physicians, dietitians, and food service personnel—on evaluation outcomes and therapy recommendations.
- Develop and present in-service training and educational sessions to hospital staff.
- Collaborate actively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain clean and organized treatment areas.
- Perform patient reminder calls and facilitate hospital navigation for patients and their families.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned to support clinical operations.
