- Provide staff education on evaluation results and share up-to-date guidance and recommendations from current research
- Prepare materials and treatment plans for each session, ensuring personalized care
- Develop and deliver in-service presentations to enhance staff knowledge and competence in communication and swallowing management
- Facilitate communication with insurance providers to verify patient benefits related to therapy
- Support patients and families in understanding the treatment process and navigating the hospital environment
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment area after each session
- Provide appointment reminders and assist with other departmental needs
Desired Qualifications:
- Current license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and demonstrated expertise in a healthcare or hospital setting
- Experience assessing and treating a range of speech, language, and swallowing disorders
