Key Qualifications:
- Current, active SLPA credential or license for Indiana
- Experience in a school-based speech setting or related field preferred
- Ability to adapt to changing building assignments and district coverage
- Commitment to meeting all standard compliance requirements (background check, district clearances)
- Enthusiasm for serving caseloads typically between 80–100 students
- Strong communication and teamwork skills across multi-disciplinary teams
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted speech and language interventions and support to assigned students
- Collaborate closely with supervising Speech-Language Pathologists, educators, and families
- Document student progress and maintain accurate, compliant records
- Participate in individualized education plan (IEP) meetings as needed
The district is considering teletherapy as a backup solution, so flexibility with technology is welcome. Grade level and location preferences are taken into account wherever possible, offering you a more tailored assignment.
